I don't know if you guys know this trick, so here it is.

Once upon a time, this dang computer dared to show me Gwynnie videos and interviews that I could not keep!  :x

Well, live and learn...
What I call "The YouTube" solution, free-style.
 metal

OK, if you don't like to cheat, maybe you should close yer eyes...

The rest of you, gather round, it's secrets time...
First of all, you'll need the fox:

As if didn't already have it... Install, then extend:
Get Unplug:

Install this little beasty, then off to converterland:

Download Super at the bottom of the page...

These three things can defeat most streaming video, and they're free...
OK, Flash and YouTube- embedded flash media wants to be saved as html, which is useless. To overcome this obstacle, you may have to override a delicate folder command: In any regular folder in Windows, under the label "tools" in the palette directly below the title bar, the last item is Folder options. Select View, the middle tab, and de-select:

Hide extensions for known file types

WARNING:

If you're not very computer savvy, deselect this JUST to re-label the flash video to yourfile(dot)flv

IMMEDIATELY RE-HIDE EXTENSIONS following download!!!

WARNING

Otherwise you may end up saving your Great American Novel as a J-peg, and thirty hard earned years of your life could be lost!

 Shocked

OK, the map:

Can't tell me I gotta log on for my Gwynnie fix!

I can see how this can come in handy, and that converter, perhaps with it I can DL wmv's that don't always play on my player, but I think VLC takes care of that.
My current player is BS player 1.37 (later versions come bundled with when dunk save angry )

I have watched U-tube and wondered if video's can be saved, I guess they can!
